An air pressure overlay which uses an electric pump to alternately inflate and deflate air cells at set intervals to assist in the prevention of pressure injuries. The mattress overlay is used on top of an existing foam mattress.

The air pump is set to inflate alternate cells that run down the bed. The cycle alternates every 10-12 minutes. The air pressure can be adjusted for comfort and need.
